Engineering and Refrigeration, Inc. started operations in 1933. As pioneers in the supermarket refrigeration industry, E&R began as a small shop located in Jersey City, New Jersey selling refrigerated show cases. During the years, we expanded our operation into the design, installation and service of supermarket refrigerated systems, while introducing new technologies that helped improve energy efficiency and environmentally save refrigerants. The growth and success of our organization is a tribute to the dedicated efforts and loyalty of everyone associated with our company, past and present. Most importantly are the strong personal relationships we have built through the years with our customers and suppliers and strong technical expertise that made us unique.

Engineering and Refrigeration, Inc. services the greater New York – New Jersey and Philadelphia Metropolitan area. We have over 50 Techs serving over 200 Supermarkets. Our technicians receive extensive training through a five-year apprenticeship program and graduate as full mechanic journeymen. Our seasoned techs participate in seminars that instruct them in the latest technologies. Engineering and Refrigeration, Inc. prides itself in delivering the highest quality installation and service.
